President of Hungary Katalin Novák visits Luxor at her first official visit to Egypt
Luxor governor Mostafa Alham welcomed President of Hungary، Katalin Novák، who has arrived to Luxor on her first official visit to Egypt.
The President of Hungary has visited in Luxor the valley of the kings and queens tombs and the sites where Hungarian archaeologists work at the west bank.
In the presence of the President of Hungary in Luxor، the signing of the friendship and cooperation agreement between Luxor governorate of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the municipality of the city of Székesfehérvár of Hungary took place. Székesfehérvár was represented by Mayor András Cser-Palkovics، who was received by Governor Alham for a preliminary meeting.
The friendship and cooperation agreement between Luxor governorate of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the municipality of the city of Székesfehérvár of Hungary shall promote bilateral cooperation in various fields of:
_ Culture،art and science through exchange of delegations، experiences and organizations of exhibitions، festivals، seminars and conferences.
_ Education through exchange of delegations، experiences and getting acquainted with the culture and history of the two cities and of their citizens.
_ Health and medicine through exchange of delegations and experiences.
_ Sports، tourism and youth
_ Promote the connection between economic or commercial enterprise service groups in both cities.
It is worth to outline that two days earlier President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received، President of Hungary، Katalin Novák، at Al-Ittihadiya Palace، where an official reception ceremony was held، national anthems played and guard of honor inspected.
President El-Sisi welcomed the President of Hungary on her first official visit to Egypt and appreciated the historical and close strategic cooperation the two countries share across all political، economic and cultural fields. The President of Hungary expressed her appreciation for the continued development in relations، calling for further cooperation between the two friendly countries.
